  • A few hours after harvesting the wild mushrooms are dried or frozen and subsequently stored in our temperature controlled warehouse to preserve intact the organoleptic properties and health. In this way Forest Food supplies mushrooms during the whole year.
  • A careful selection and an accurate mycological checking are carried out by qualified personnel in the company and with the constant presence of the mycologist who follows all the stages of processing.
  • By the use of self-monitoring system based on the H.A.C.C.P. method (critical control point analysis), FOREST FOOD exerts careful control of all activities to ensure the safety and health of food products.
  • Our analysis plan provides tests carried out by accredited laboratories.
  • In order to ensure food safety FOREST FOOD employs a Traceability System to be able to trace the history of every item and each step in its transformation, reconstructing its path precisely with documented information.
  • To demonstrate a further commitment to the reliability of its products, Forest Food has obtained the IFS FOOD and ORGANIC certifications.
